Hey readers. How are you? I have to say that i missed blogging. I feel so sad for neglecting my blog like this. So many things happened like school started last September 17 and i've been very busy with it ever since. Yes, what i meant was, so many things happened in school alone. Haha. Anyway, I'll try my best to update during my spare time. Bye. :)

Etude House mini haul

Hello everyone! I just want to share these awesome stuffs that i bought from Etude House. It was actually my first to shop there. Well, i've entered their store before but i just looked around. As much as possible, i read reviews prior to buying. Anyway, here they are. :)

Howdy September

Hello lovelies! How are you all? This is just a quick update since I had no time posting for a week. (I don't want to neglect my blog and awesome readers.) It's already September and almost everyone is raving about this month. The question is: Are you one of us? :)

Every year, people would happily welcome this time of the year. Why? It's because it only means that Christmas is just around the corner! Sale, shopping, gifts, cold weather, and more family time. Don't forget Halloween, too! Although i am blissful about it, i'm also kind of unhappy now that I've realized that time is flying really fast, so i wish it would slow down a bit. For all we know, tomorrow we're already welcoming 2012. Don't you feel the same way? Anyway, i don't want to spoil anything. God wants us to enjoy what we have now so let's! :)

Before i end this, i'd love to know if you are aware of any upcoming mall sales here in Metro Manila? What are you looking forward to now that September is already here? We're almost reaching the end of the year ladies. It's not yet too late to make it more memorable! :) x

I think you need to like the page first. In my case, i didn't so i'm not really sure. Anyway, I remember him telling me about going through a screen test for this pageant at UST. In memory of Baby Tommy

Have you ever had a pet that you loved so much? If you did, then you know how it feels like to lose one. I lost Baby Tommy 2 weeks ago. My father found him lying outside of our house. Unfortunately, he got ran over by a vehicle. I cried for 1 whole day, and that was my first time to cry a river for a pet. The impact of the accident is different, compared to a loss of a diseased pet. It was really disheartening.

The night before that day, i already had this feeling that something bad might happen to Tommy. That being said, for a moment i blamed myself for not checking out on him before sleeping. My mom just told me that our Tommy saved someone in our family. If you're a Filipino, you might have heard of this. Your pet dies because they're actually saving you from sickness, or accident. That's how loyal they are.

Basically, nothing is this life lasts forever. We often forget that thought when we love so deeply. At some point in our lives, we will experience losing a loved one, therefore, we should always remember that everything will eventually be alright and it all happens for a reason. Stay strong in spite of all the heartaches you feel. :)

Sadako slash the Grudge inspired look

Halloween is almost here, and so, i created this inspired look of Sadako and The Grudge. It's really effortless, i swear! Anyone can actually do it. I only edited the brightness and contrast of these pictures to emphasize the creepiness a bit! ;p Hope you like it.

 

What to use:

• Pure Cornstarch Powder (You can use a white pressed powder if you have one.)
• Black and white eyeliner 
• Eyelid primer
• Black eyeshadow

You can use any brand you like, but of course, for long lasting purposes, i would definitely recommend you use quality wise brands. I'm not saying that you buy the expensive ones. There are cheap products that are really promising if you know how to look! Anyway, is my make-up effective? Did it scare you? Please let me know! :) 'Til my next!

Hey reader! I just changed my URL. From twistedfallenstar to icafernandez, because this will be about my life anyway. :) In addition to that, i will also try my best not to neglect this blog. Oh yes, i will try to update every now and then. That's it for now. :)

Hello again

It's been a long time since I blogged here. I've been busy with other stuffs, and I was really lazy to post here but recently, due to my love for make up, I've decided to add that here on my super random blog. I've been obsessed with it. Whenever I go to a mall, the beauty area is my first stop. :D It's funny because back in high school, my friends would tell me to use a baby powder on my face. I always say no and that I don't need it. Of course, I ended up using one until college. Only that, and nothing else, because I was afraid to try other beauty products, even pressed powders. Last year 2010, I finally had the guts to check out other make up products! Since I was a beginner, I had to look online for what products to buy for someone like me. I don't have a sister, and my mom isn't much of  a make up lover (she shared some of the basic products to use though) so the internet was pretty much my source! Going back, I remember buying a pressed powder, a red lip gloss, a small eyeshadow palette and a black eyebrow pencil. All items bought are from Careline, It's all cheap 'cause I was only starting and just experimenting. After that, my obsession for it stopped then last month, it started again. I'm now even fond of watching make up tutorials! Anyway, that's it for now. Wait for my next post! I'll be ranting about the products I discovered earlier this year, and the products that I'm loving now. :)

My hopes rocketed sky high. Never again! Well, to that particular thing only.

Random realizations 1

- Sometimes, we think that our good intentions are always right, because we are often blinded by our own desires that also leads us to forget about what the other person will truly feel. We should always try put ourselves in their shoes first before making any move, otherwise, conflict will arise.

- Whenever I commit a mistake, I now tell myself that it's either I'm stuck at the spot forever or i will accept, learn from it, and move on. It's easier said than done, though. Usually, I'm stuck at first. Guilt, sadness, and anger will cloud my mind, and then I'll begin to accept the bitter truth. That's how it goes. 

- I also realized that we can never dictate nor ask a person of what we want them to do for us. Don't you think it's better if that person do things for you coming from their heart and without asking them to do it? All people know these, but unfortunately, we often forget. This should set as a reminder for me and for other people too.

For the sake of updating.. ;p

I know it's been a long time since I last posted an entry here. I've been kind of busy especially with my dad being at the hospital and all. (He's getting better now, btw. Thank you, Lord.) Yes, I go online everyday but unfortunately, my mind is also preoccupied with other things. You can also say that I'm distracted. Anyway, pictures are taken last week when my cousins and my relatives visited my dad at the hospital. We hung out at Starbucks for a while. 

I'll just add the other photos next time.

I want to share the pictures(me and my cousins) I edited. It's nothing special, really. I'm just trying different ways of photo manipulation using the Adobe Photoshop. All shots were taken by yours truly.

Photo with a reflection. Next time, I'm going to edit it with a blue background! So it'll be easier to notice the reflection and to look more realistic.

Introduction

My heart is overjoyed for I have finally made my own blog! I've been longing to create one since last week. Just so you know, this is not my first time. I actually own several blogs before. But now, I guess you could say that this will be my first and last official online diary!

What to expect here:

• Endless words. (Keep in mind that this is a blog. This is very much expected.)
